Many thanks again, a perfect cottage for our Moira Folk Festival family adventure. We'll be back!
Bramble Grange is a lovely little cottage with everything a couple or small family need and is ideally situated in the centre of the National Forest close to all attractions. The hosts provide a wealth of information in their packs and folder to make is very easy to get 'out and about'. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Stayed at Bramble lodge recently and was very happy with the accommodation. Very comfortable and plenty of things to do mostly within a 2030 minute drive. Owner was very friendly. Nice pub nearby but a shame it doesnt do food. Fish and chip shop over the road but we didnt actually try it. Only downside was the proximity of the road and there was almost a constant stream of lorrys which didnt really stop even through the night. Didnt really disturb sleep but a bit annoying. All in all a nice stay.

We loved our stay at Bramble Grange, it was easy to find and on arrival things like tea towels, sponge and cloth, bin bags, tea coffee etc were all available along with some flavoured water and milk. It is lovey and clean and very homely! The only downside is it is right on a main road and the bedroom windows back onto this, there is nothing the owners can do about this, it is just how it is but light sleepers may struggle. Garden is beautifully maintained and hot tub was a wonderful treat. We visited Cadbury world which is around a 40 minute drive away and went into Tamworth but there was nothing to report there! We used local take aways Istanbul bbq and curry pot, both delivered and were very reasonably priced. Owners are very attentive and were quick to respond to any messages we sent regarding arrival and the heating in the home. Lovely little stay
Debbie
We three women in our late 50s stayed here for two nights. The owner is lovely and very helpful. However the standout has to be the little courtyard garden that is just beautiful. We ate our chippy tea in the summerhouse and absolutely loved the hottub. There's plenty to do in the area. The interior of the bungalow is a little dated, but everything was very clean, comfortable and in working order, so that wasn't a problem. We'd recommend this property to anybody looking to visit South Derbyshire.
Brenda
Homely stay with helpful and friendly hosts next door. Great hot tub, excellent WiFi and fab location for Conkers, Drayton Manor and even a local cinema at Swadlincote 10 mins away. Needs an update to a couple of facilities, eg, smallish fridgefreezer but good value for money. Nice to have a summerhouse too. Definitely recommend for a pleasant stay.

Great little cottage. The family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The owners are lovely. We would love to go back!
The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the owners were really welcoming and helpful. The cottage was well equipped for our stay with all the kitchen equipment we required. The beds were comfortable as was the seating area. The whole cottage was lovely and warm. A few reviews said the road was noisy but we didn't find this a problem at all. The hot tub was a real bonus after having being out walking all day. There were lots of lovely walks in the area and we found a few nice outside along the way. A really relaxing, enjoyable weekend.

It's a nice place to stay. The hosts were very helpful. The hot tub was great, and the accommodation was lovely for a family break, but the interior is a bit dated. The gated entrance to the driveway is tight. If you drive a big car like an SUV or a family car it is best to drive in and reverse out.
A very well equipped and comfortable property. Perfect for a few days relaxing. The hot tub was amazing and just what we wanted. Nicky was very welcoming and had generously left milk, teacoffee, wine and mince pies. We would definitely love to return. Thank you.
Carley
Lovely little cottage. Well kept, nice and clean. Owner was very helpful and left lots of information. The only down point we had was it rain pretty much the whole time we was there so couldn't make use of the hot tub, Maybe a gazebo or some shelter over it would be good
Andrew
Very pleasant stay. Loved the hot tub.
Gillian
We had a lovely stay good facilities, comfortable and nice location. We especially loved the hot tub!
Doreen
Had a very nice stay. Owners were very nice and friendly.the parking was abit tight especially reversing out could do with lights on gate at night when dark.Would definitely return.
We really enjoyed our stay at bramble grange, its a lovely and comfortable cottage, with a beautiful garden and stunning flowers, the hot tub was very enjoyed by all of us, the owners were very nice and extremely helpful. we would love to come again.
This is a nice cottage but there were a lot of cobwebs and spiders inside. The hot tub didn't look clean and there were numerous dead bugs floating around in it which was very off putting. The place would be tight for four guests as the second room has a small double bed which wouldn't be ideal for 2 adults. If you're staying please take extra towels for the hot tub. On the plus side, the owners were friendly, milk, water, tea and coffee was provided and there were some thoughtful gestures such as guest book detailing local walks, restaurants and places of interest.
We had a lovely 2 weeks there and the hot tub was a great after are walking. Nicky and Tony are very helpful if you need help with anything. The only reason Ive not given it 1010 as it is a little crowded when there is 4 of you and the fridge is very small.
We had an enjoyable stay at Bramble Grange over the Coronation weekend. A nice welcome pack on arrival was greatly appreciated as was the information folder in the cottage. Plenty to do and see in the local area. Though located next to a main road the traffic noise mentioned in previous customer feedback was not an issue to us. The hot tub was clean, relaxing and a nice temperature. The only suggestion would be a pergola type construction with a perspex roof so that the hot tub could still be enjoyed even when the 'good old British weather' turns a little murky. You will not be disappointed with your stay at Bramble Grange and we plan to return in the not too distant.
A lovely property with everything you need. Friendly hosts who made you feel welcome. Hot tub and summer house is perfect for relaxing and feels very secluded even though you are next to the main road. Plenty of walks and sightseeing opportunities in a very pretty area of the country. Would recommend in a heart beat.
The hosts were very friendly & knowledgeable on the local area,The cottage was comfortable & had everything we needed. Hot tub was lovely & the internet was satisfactory as we downloaded some movies.
We stayed at this lovely cottage for one week, once we looked at why it was originally built it made more sence. Only small issues could be fixed, updated. I would have got rid of mismatching cutlery, add an extra dinner sets. Small details in the grand scheme of things. The good things are everything else, space inside and out. location, hosts helped out when needed and full of knowledge, Nikkie couldn't do enough and filled o Internet gap while they were changing suppliers. The surroundings amazing, out in the countryside, Less than an hour from larger towns, even closer to local shops. I would without a doubt return to Bramble cottage, it's far enough away for peice and quiet, apart from road noise when outside. The hot tub is big enough for 4, lovely quiet summer house, comfortable seatng inside, bed rooms not to big, but big enough for purpose, which is for 4 people. So, here is where I can say a big thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage, good luck for the future and hopefully, fingers crossed we would love to return.
We had a wonderful stay at Bramble Grange. Everything was lovely and the owners were very helpful with brilliant communication. Although the property only had onsite space for one car, we were able to park additional cars on the road less than 1 minute walk away. The hot tub and summer house were also well maintained and a lovely addition to the property Other reviews have mentioned road noise, which there was a small amount of, but it wasn't ever a problem to us and it is to be expected as it is located on an A road. Bramble Grange has a lovely homely feel and is a great place to stay.
Michael
We just came back from a lovely 3 night stay, the bungalow is spotless and has everything you need. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend. Nicki was a great host and let my little boy feed the fish everyday which he was super excited about.
Hemant
We had a great weekend at the cottage. It is a lovely place and private. There are a variety of activities accessible from there and coming back to relax in the hot tub was amazing. Additional towels or bathrobes would have been welcome, given that there is a hot tub. Otherwise, the place is well equipped.
Sharon
The bedrooms were rather small for 4 people it would have been very crowded ... The bedrooms were rather small for 4 people it would have been very crowded The cottage was great for 2 of us, the hot tub ideal, the garden was lovely The road noise spoilt the quiet and I don't think it was mentioned although inside the property not a problem The owners were lovely, overall a lovely little property ideal for a break away
Couldnt of asked for a nicer place . . Nicky was so lovely and friendly. The hot tub was fantastic and kept lovely and clean, and the place itself was spotless and so homely , we loved our stay here and would not hesitate to come back
What a lovely place everything was exactly as we'd hoped for, very welcoming on arrival and definitely worth another visit. Large selection of places to eat and takeaways within a short distance and lots to see in the area.
Louise
We had an enjoyable stay at Bramble Grange. We had a warm welcome upon our arrival and the accommodation was adequate for our stay. We booked knowing the property was on the main road, so the traffic noise didn't bother us, as it wasn't that noticeable once in the property or hot tub. Though bathroom tiles needed a good clean and cutlery needed replacing, these were small matters, as the cottage was warm and the beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed our weekend.
What a great place to stay. Handy for the local sights. Great hot tub.
Caroline
Such a lovely place to stay and the owners are so lovely yoo
Absolutly no complaints. Accomodation was as described
Beautiful cottage, perfect location for visiting lots of local attractions. Clean, comfortable and has a hot tub too. Definitely recommend
Yvonne
Two of us stayed at Bramble Grange and had a fabulous week. Hot tub great and relaxing, the owners cleaned it daily. They had a box containing details of local walks, food and drink, taxis and other information that we found helpful. There is a Co op and a pub within walking distance. Also there is a takeaway and a fish shop. Details of places to eat are in the pack of information. The road has been mentioned by other reviews, but it was not a problem for us. You can hear it outside, but when the hot tub is on, its not really noticeable. The cottage has two double beds and can take four people, but four adults may find it small. A very relaxing week. We would definitely consider staying there again.
Situated in a very busy noisy corner at a road junction Bathroom taps on wrong way and very difficult to turn off. Nicky was really nice
