With room for 9 people across 4 bedrooms, it's perfect for extended families or friends who want to holiday together without getting on each other's nerves.

Just a half-mile stroll from local shops and a proper country inn, this place puts you right in the heart of walking country. Direct access to hiking trails means you can lace up your boots and head straight onto the hills. After a day exploring, you'll appreciate returning to your own private garden with flagged patio, outdoor furniture and firepit/BBQ – just remember the neighbours get grumpy if you're still out there after 10pm!

The accommodation features a beamed lounge with oak flooring, four bedrooms (three with en-suites) and underfloor heating throughout. The games room is an absolute winner with pool table, table tennis, table football and TV with Wii console – perfect for competitive types or entertaining the kids while you crack open the wine.

Very roomy cottage, well equipped and in a great location to explore the Peak District and Kinder Scout in particular. The games room with snooker table, table tennis and table football was really welcome. There are several walks straight from the cottage. The owner was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay.
